Rapper 50 Cent has hired a team of private detectives to investigate the death of his former manager Chris Lighty, according to a U.S. report.

Lighty was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head in his Bronx apartment in August (12), and New York Medical Examiner officials ruled the tragedy a suicide.

But, in the weeks since his passing, the music mogul's sibling, Dave Lighty, has cast doubt on the verdict, insisting, "Nothing is adding up", and revealing, "I can't get a direct answer from anybody".

And now the Candy Shop hitmaker has recruited a group of top detectives to conduct an independent investigation into the incident, so Lighty's family can find peace, according to MyFoxNy.com.
