Chris O'Dowd and Dawn Porter tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on a boat on London's River Thames.
Chris O'Dowd and Dawn Porter got married on a boat.
The couple tied the knot in August 2012 and celebrated with a three day extravaganza they dubbed 'Wedfest', but Chris has admitted the actual ceremony was extremely intimate and they instead through a huge party the following day with those closest to them.
He said: ''It was a three-day affair. My wife and I got officially married on a little boat on the Thames and then had a big to-do the next day with about 120 of our closest friends.
''We finished it off with a big barbeque. It was very emotional and I must say, quite romantic.''
Chris, 33, also joked how marriage has made him a changed man because he now feels less pressure to be romantic towards his wife.
The 'Bridesmaids' actor added to People: ''I feel very relaxed. All of a sudden I don't have to worry about any of that stuff anymore. As my wife likes to say, 'You never have to worry about being romantic again'.''
