Carrie Underwood Wins Big At Country Awards

Carrie Underwood won two major prizes at the American Country Awards last night (05.12.11).

The blonde beauty - who was last year's top winner with six accolades - took home Female Artist of the Year and Single of the Year for a Female Artist with 'Mama's Song' at the ceremony in Los Angeles.

Jason Aldean led the field with six wins, including Artist of the Year, Touring Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for 'My Kinda Party', while Taylor Swift, who did not attend, was left empty handed despite picking up six nods.

Jason shared Single and Music Video of the Year with blonde stunner Kelly Clarkson for 'Don't You Wanna Stay'.

Other winners on the night saw Lady Antebellum pick up Group of the Year, Brad Paisley won Male Artist of the Year and Blake Shelton's 'Who Are You When I'm Not Looking' pulled in the Music Video of the Year and Music Video for a Male Artist gongs.
