Actress Christina Applegate has joined Halle Berry's angry crusade against intrusive paparazzi who snap pictures of celebrities' kids.
In May (12) Berry was caught on camera hurling obscenities at photographers who were camped outside her daughter Nahla's Los Angeles school, and the incident prompted her to call for tighter restrictions on snappers.
And Anchorman star Applegate has now added her voice to the cause after a recent day in the park with her one-year-old daughter Sadie was spoiled by the paparazzi.
Venting her frustration on Twitter.com in a series of posts, she writes, "Just imagine for one second you having fun with ur (your) kid in the park and a bunch of a holes (a**holes) start surrounding you and freaking ur kid out (sic)... I want my daughter to live a normal life. I want her to feel free to be who she wants, so paparazzi stop taking pics of her! Enough! We need a law against this! Taking pics (pictures) of kids is sick!"
And the 40 year old admits she now sympathises with tragic star Michael Jackson's bizarre attempts to shield his three kids - Prince, Paris, and Blanket - from the public eye with masks and dark veils.
She tweeted, "It's times like these where I understand why Michael Jackson had his kids covered (so) they were able to be anonymous".
