Christina Applegate is to star in comedy 'Up All Night'.

The pilot has been picked up by US network NBC and will show the 39-year-old actress portraying a working mother with a stay-at-home husband coping with family pressures.

'Saturday Night Live's Maya Rudolph will also star as well as Lorne Michaels, who is also a co-executive producer of the new show.
