Christina Hendricks has been unveiled as the face of Vivienne Westwood's new line of jewellery.
Christina Hendricks, the American actress best known for her role as the office manager 'Joan Holloway' in 'Mad Men', models Westwood's jewellery in a glitzy new campaign, reports the UK's Daily Telegraph.Hendricks, who has become extremely successful as a 'plus size' model, says she is delighted to work for someone as influential as Westwood, saying, "She is my favourite designer. As a young girl I would cut out pictures of her dresses from magazines, although I was never able to afford them. Even now I only have one in my closet". The 69-year-old British designer says Hendricks is the perfect model for the new range, which features symbols of paganism such as the acorn and the oak tree. Westwood said, "Christina is the embodiment of beauty and we were delighted to have been able to involve her with this new jewellery collection. She has proved to be the perfect model for the campaign"
Christina Hendricks has modelled for a number of high-profile advertising campaigns in recent years, most notably for the luxury clothing brand 'London Fog'.
