Christina Ricci has signed up to star in the latest Adam Sandler comedy Born To Be a Star.
In the film, which is co-written by Sandler, a young man discovers his parents were porn stars and heads off to Hollywood in the hope of following in their footsteps.
Ricci will play the girlfriend of the lead character, although it is yet to be decided who she will star alongside.
Tom Brady, who was at the helm of The Hot Chick and The Animal, is set to direct.
However, despite a co-production and writing credit for Sandler, the film will not be a Happy Madison movie.
Miles Deep Prods will instead oversee the picture.
Last month, Ricci announced that she is to marry her actor boyfriend OWEN BENJAMIN.
The pair have been together since November of last year and also co-star in the forthcoming All's Faire in Love, which deals with medieval re-enactments.
