Angus T - Angus T. Jones Blasts Two And A Half Men
Teenage actor Angus T. Jones has risked the wrath of his Tv boss Chuck Lorre after publicly trashing hit sitcom Two And A Half Men, insisting it's full of "filth".
The 19 year old has portrayed Jon Cryer's onscreen son Jake Harper in the popular comedy since its launch in 2003, and he earns a reported $350,000 (£218,750) per episode, but he reveals he has been reading up on Christianity and the bible and has become more involved in his local church - and the more he learns about his faith, the more he despises his job.
In a candid video for the Forerunner Christian Church, which has been posted online, Jones even pleads with fans to quit tuning into the programme for their own good.
He says, "If you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop watching Two and a Half Men. I'm on Two and a Half Men and I don't want to be on it.
"Please stop watching it and filling your head with filth. People say it's just entertainment. Do some research on the affects of television and your brain, and I promise you you'll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch.
"If I am doing any harm, I don't want to be here. I don't want to be contributing to the enemy's plan... You cannot be a true God-fearing person and be on a television show like that. I know I can't. I'm not Ok with what I'm learning, what the bible says and being on that television show."
Lorre has yet to comment on the video. The Tv mogul famously fired his former lead star Charlie Sheen after a bitter and public feud last year (11), and Ashton Kutcher was hired as his replacement.
