Ciara instantly knew she wanted to marry Future.
The 'Like A Boy' hitmaker, who got engaged to the rapper on her 28th birthday in October and welcomed their first child, Future Jr., into the world in May, admits she fell in love with him instantly.
The singer told the August-September issue of Brides magazine: ''I knew right away that he was different. Now he's my best friend in the world, my partner.''
The couple, who started dating in late 2012, are currently planning their wedding and Ciara says it will very modern.
Asked about her wedding dress, the blonde beauty said: ''For my wedding, I'm going to do elegance with a little edge.''
She added: ''There will be five or six [bridesmaids] and two matrons of honour [including La La Anthony]. They'll all wear the same colour, but in different styles to suit their personalities.''
The duo, who are close friends with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, have asked some of their pals to entertain their guests at their reception.
She said: ''A few of our friends will sing, and we'll have a great DJ--good old soul mixed with new stuff. You want people to say, 'This is my jam!' ''
The couple are keeping their wedding date a secret for now, but Future, 30, previously admitted he didn't want a long engagement.
The producer, real name Nayvadius Cash, said: ''We threw a few dates out at each other, trying to figure it all out and make sense. We want the date to be special. We're trying to pick little dates out.''
