Claire Danes has opened up about her biggest fears, which include accidentally killing someone and rats.
Claire Danes is terrified of killing someone.
The 'Homeland' actress - who is expecting her first child with spouse Hugh Dancy - fears the thought of going to prison and also has an irrational phobia of taking someone else's life.
She said: ''I think being in prison would be very scary, as well as killing somebody unintentionally or even intentionally.''
Despite playing fearless CIA agent Carrie Mathison in the popular TV show, Claire also admitted to a ''paralysing'' fear of rats, which she shares with her ''big burly brother'' Asa.
The blonde beauty added to Grazia magazine: ''On a petty level, I am absolutely terrified of rats. It's a paralysing fear. I grew up in downtown New York City, where there were a lot of them.
''I've always been reassured by the fact that my big, burly brother, Asa, is even more afraid of them than I am.
''I am also afraid of losing my mind - I really value my sanity.''
