The son of late movie legend Clark Gable is adamant he was not drinking before a car crash involving six other vehicles in Malibu, California on Tuesday (02Apr13), insisting he lost consciousness before the smash happened.

John Clark Gable was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence (Dui) and hit-and-run after his car allegedly rear-ended another vehicle on the Pacific Coast Highway and then reportedly crashed into six parked vehicles after he fled the scene of the first incident.

He was taken into custody, but has now spoken out about the drama.

Gable tells Tmz.com he was "absolutely was not drinking" and had actually blacked out behind the wheel, adding that he is taking medication for a minor leg injury from mountain biking.

He also claims he has suffered two brain aneurysms in the past and plans to consult a doctor to find out if the health concerns could have caused Tuesday's incidents.
