Sir Cliff Richard is looking forward to spending Christmas in New York.

The 'Mistletoe and Wine' singer - who has homes around the world including properties in the UK, Barbados and The Algarve in Portugal - is excited about spending the festive season in the 'Big Apple' this year after celebrating the 2011 festive season in his native Britain.

He told BANG Showbiz: "I had Thanksgiving in New York and then went on to Barbados. Then it's back to New York for Christmas. I had Christmas in the UK last year so I've decided to go to New York this year, I love Christmas in New York but I'll be back in the UK for the festive season next year."

After his American Yule Tide celebrations, Cliff plans to fly to Paris for New Year's Eve (31.12.11) and while his schedule is packed he wouldn't want it any other way.

The 71-year-old - who recently released his DVD 'Cliff Richard: The Soulicious Tour' - said: "I will fly to Paris for a friend's party on New Year's Eve. It's very busy, a non stop schedule but I love it."
