Sir Cliff Richard showed his support to a crew of British servicemen who rowed across the Atlantic by turning up to cheer at their finish line in Barbados.
The veteran singer, who has a home on the island, donned a Union Jack T-shirt to greet the group of six former and serving servicemen, including four amputees, who reached Port St. Charles on Wednesday (25Jan12).
Sir Cliff offered his congratulations to their families and embraced each of the rowers, who spent 51 days making the 3,000-mile (4,828-kilometre) voyage across the Atlantic.
The Row2Recovery team embarked on their journey to raise money for Abf: The Soldiers Charity, Help for Heroes and The Soldiers, Seamen, Airmen and Families Association.
