Sir Cliff Richard has been left fuming after his songs were banned from a U.K. radio station's playlist.
Executives at Britain's new Absolute Radio 60s have revealed the veteran singer's tracks will not be played on the airwaves as he is not "cool enough".
Richard is unimpressed with the ban and has taken aim at radio bosses for snubbing his songs.
He tells Britain's Daily Express, "They are trying to erase me and count me out. I have sold more singles than The Beatles."
The star previously overcame similar controversy in 1999 when his Christmas single Millennium Prayer topped the U.K. chart even though it had been banned from the airwaves of a number of the country's top radio stations.
