CONAN O BRIEN is set to make his much anticipated return to television tonight (8th November 2010) after being off the air since January when NBC paid him off to make way for Jay Leno's return to the 'Tonight Show'.
O'Brien's new TBS late night show is set to debut tonight and the 47-year-old will go up against Leno whose show will be airing as usual. There has been much speculation as to who will be the celebrity guests on both shows, and plenty of hype as to who will 'win' the first head-to-head battle. O Brien's new show will be kicking off with guests that include the actor Seth Rogen and 'Glee' star Lea Michele, while Leno has former governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger lined up. However, Wednesday's airing of both shows sees an even more intriguing battle, with O Brien welcoming 'Mad Men' star JOHN HAMM to the show, and Leno speaking to recently defeated Republican politician CHRISTINE O'DONNELL.
Other guests lined up for O Brien's first week of shows include the OSCAR winning actor Tom Hanks, White Stripes singer Jack White, and the band FISTFUL OF MERCY.
