Corey Feldman, the American actor who rose to fame in the 1980's starring in 'The Goonies' and 'Stand By Me', has become embroiled in a legal battle over child support. Feldman's ex-wife claims he left her "high and dry" with their 7-year-old son, reports Tmz.com.
Susannah Feldman, a former Playboy model, has enlisted county officials to force the actor to pay child support. Susannah's local support agency filed the documents on her behalf at the Los Angeles County Superior Court, asking a judge to demand that Corey pay $307 a month to take care of their child. The model, who divorced from Corey in 2009, also requests that Feldman pay health insurance and half of the child's medical expenses. The couple, who both starred in the reality show 'The Two Corey's' reportedly met in a nightclub in 2002 - they married in October of that year, but split seven years later in October 2009. Feldman recently completed filming the low-budget horror flick 'Six Degrees of Hell', with Jill Whelan and Brian Anthony Wilson. He starred in the comedy-musical 'Bye Bye Bin Laden f.k.a Operation Belvis Bash' earlier this year.
Feldman's long-time friend and co-star Corey Haim died of pneumonia on 10th March 2010. The pair starred in eight movies together, including the classic teen comedy-horror 'The Lost Boys'.
