David Schwimmer, the 43-year-old actor famed for playing 'Ross' on hit show 'Friends', secretly married his girlfriend ZOE BUCKMAN back in June 2010. Schwimmer reportedly met the part-time photographer when directing his comedy movie 'Run, Fat Boy, Run', in London in 2007. Buckman was working as a waitress in the West End's exclusive 'Cuckoo Club at the time.
The couple announced their engagement in March 2010 after 25-year-old Buckman left her home in North London to be with Schwimmer in Los Angeles. However, the actor and director's rep recently confirmed to People Magazine that the couple had secretly wed in a private ceremony back in June.
The news comes as the actor's 'Friends' co-star Courteney Cox announced she has separated from husband David Arquette after 11-years of marriage. The 46-year-old, who played Schwimmer's on-screen brother in the hit sitcom, said that despite the split the pair aim to remain committed parents and best friends. Cox and Arquette said in a joint statement reported by the Press Association, "The reason for this separation is to better understand ourselves and the qualities we need in a partner and for our marriage".
