Crookers Announces 'Get Excited' As Free Download [Listen]

Crookers announces a special treat for the fans by giving away 'Get Excited' from the highly anticipated forthcoming album, 'Sixteen Chapel' for free.

Renowned for his hi octane, no holds barred live shows and productions, this incendiary release look certain to set the summer season ablaze.

'Get Excited' is a collaboration between Crookers and hotly tipped Philly based MC, STS (Sugar Tongue Slim). "STS is such an amazing rapper", says Phra. "He came to my house for few weeks working on music and despite the amount of spicy pasta and beers, we found the way to make a couple of tracks together." He goes on to add, "Get Excited stands out as we played it live for the first time at Webster Hall in New York and the crowd went ballistic. That's why I decided to include it on my next album."

The stellar remix package comes courtesy of LA based DJ/Production powerhouse, gLAdiator. Known for bringing an irresistible sense of fun and passion to every set, whether it's a sweat-soaked nightclub or in front of thousands at a festival, this duo is on the rise in the electronic dance music scene. Also coming on board is fellow Italian and Lucky Beard Records label mate, Stabber, who brings his 90s influenced hip-hop beats and gives it a new school rap beats twist.

Phra's previous releases, 'Able To Maximize', 'Ghetto Guetta' and 'Heavy' went back to the old school formula that gave Crookers its imitable sound and racked up tens of thousands of plays on Sound Cloud. The recent remix competition in conjunction with Sennheiser and Sound Cloud for the single garnered 300 entries with the winner to be selected by the man himself.

Crookers remix of Kid Cudi's 'Day 'N Nite' reached #2 on the UK sales chart and Crookers' debut album, 'Tons of Friends' featured an all-star lineup that included Miike Snow, Pitbull and Major Lazer. Not one to rest on his laurels, Phra is putting together the finishing touches to his next album planned for release later this year.
