Cuba Gooding Jr. is looking for a home in New York City.

The 45-year-old actor is starring 'The Trip to Bountiful' on Broadway and is reportedly searching for a temporary property for him and his family to stay in when they join him in July to stay for a month.

Cuba - who has three children, Spencer, Mason and Piper, with his wife Sara Kapfer - has been spotted looking at living spaces in the James NY hotel in the SoHo district and several other properties in 'The Big Apple'.

A representative for the Oscar-winning star told the New York Post newspaper: ''Cuba hasn't yet made a decision about living arrangements. His family plans are unconfirmed.''

Earlier this month, Cuba sold his house in Malibu, California, after having it listed for $729,000 for just three weeks.

The pad was bought by the 'Jerry Maguire' star in 1999 and has five large bedrooms, three bathrooms, a swimming pool and an attached garage, which can occupy up to three cars.

Cuba also owns a Los Angeles home situated in the exclusive area of Pacific Palisades, in California.
