Dallas icon Larry Hagman has confirmed he is winning his battle with throat cancer.
The actor was diagnosed with the disease days before shooting began on the relaunch of the legendary TV drama, but he was determined to keep working during his treatment.
His co-star Patrick Duffy revealed last month (Aug12) that Hagman has been given "a clean bill of health" - and now the actor has spoken out to confirm he is in remission from the disease.
Hagman tells British magazine OK!, "Yes, I got cancer while shooting Dallas. It was a true challenge and it wasn't fun. I had to get chemotherapy and radiation treatment. They gave me a lot of time between my scenes. And thank goodness, I beat that thing. I am in remission now. All good!"
