Damon Albarn's supergroup The Good, The Bad & The Queen made its live comeback in London on Thursday evening (10Nov11) with a gig in aid of Greenpeace.
The Blur rocker teamed up with The Clash bassist Paul Simonon, The Verve guitarist Simon Tong and drummer Tony Allen to form the line-up in 2006.
They took time out of the spotlight to focus on their own projects, but came together for the first time in three years on Thursday to stage two shows.
The group launched the environmental organisation's Rainbow Warrior vessel on London's Thames River, with Albarn telling the crowd, "We're here to celebrate 40 years of Greenpeace. We're asking anyone who wants to make a difference to join Greenpeace."
Later on Thursday they played another set at the U.K. capital's Coronet venue.
