Sir Paul McCartney is eyeing a collaboration with Damon Albarn's band Gorillaz.
The Beatles legend famously dabbled with electronic music on his solo album MCCartney II, and he is looking to venture back into the genre by teaming up with the Clint Eastwood hitmakers.
He has held talks with Albarn about a collaboration, but admits the proposed project has been hampered by the pair's busy schedules.
MCCartney tells TheQuietus.com, "We have kind of talked. Nothing serious, but I like what they do. I have run into Damon at things and we have talked. It's got near a couple of times but we never had the time, I suppose."
