Former Blur stat Damon Albarn's new group THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE QUEEN made their live London debut last night (26OCT06) in front of a celeb-pack audience. The group - which consists of Albarn, The Clash's bassist PAUL SIMONON, The Verve guitarist SIMON TONG, and FELA KUTI drummer TONY ALLEN - played their entire self-titled debut album at the Camden Roundhouse to an adoring crowd, which included British rockers Kaiser Chiefs, rapper Dizzee Rascal and Gnarls Barkley. Opening the show, the SONG 2 hitmaker said, "It's nice to be back." The band also dedicated new track Behind the Sun to the late English DJ John Peel, who died two years ago (04).
