Actress Dana Delany has urged Desperate Housewives creator MARC CHERRY to devise a musical version of the hit show - and she's eyeing a leading part.
The redhead played neurotic Katherine Mayfair in the series and she's keen to see her role resurrected - in an all-singing, all-dancing remake of the series.
She tells Britain's Sunday Mail, "The idea struck me when I was watching (French musical movie) 8 Women because the film reminded me so much of Desperate Housewives. I sent a DVD of the film to Marc. He wasn't interested but now, of course, the television series Glee has come along, which I love.
"Maybe Marc could get (Stephen) Sondheim to write the music. I'd love to do it, even though I'm not a great singer."
