Dancing With The Stars contestant David Arquette was cheered on by wife Courteney Cox and daughter Coco during his performance on the hit reality show on Monday (19th September 2011). Despite being estranged from the actor following a high profile split, Cox and Coco were vocal in their support of Arquette as he delivered a confident opening routine.
Speaking after the show to US Weekly Magazine, 47-year-old Cox said, "I thought David did such an amazing job. It's the most nerve wracking thing I've ever experienced and I'm so proud. I loved it. He had such grace and such style". The actor received a total of 18 points out of a possible 30 for his Viennese Waltz with partner Kym Johnson - meaning he should be safe from elimination tonight. The Cougar Town actress, who separated from Arquette back in October after he admitted to sleeping with another woman, added, "(Coco) is really excited to be here - she is proud of her dad. It was really fun for her". The actor later spoke of his delight that Courteney and Coco turned up to the taping, saying, "It meant a lot".
The couple have been married for 11 years, although it is not clear whether they plan to divorce. Courteney Cox has been spending time with her Cougar Town co-star Josh Hopkins but insists the relationship is purely platonic.
