Maksim Chmerkovskiy has refused to apologise to Len Goodman after a feud erupted between the pair.

The 'Dancing With The Stars' professional dancer - who is partnered with Hope Solo - lashed out at judges Len, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli after their critical remarks about the pair's latest performance, but he is not planning on saying sorry.

Speaking on 'Good Morning America', he said: "I had a long conversation with my dad and I don't regret anything.

"That's why I think I'm misunderstood in this situation. Everyone is waiting for me to bow my head and plead for forgiveness. I have nothing to apologise for. I'm in the business because I love it. I can't really lose with remarks like this."

During the show, Maksim objected to Len's comment that the pair's rumba was the "worst dance of the season".

The dancer called the panellist's words "disrespectful", and Len replied: "I've been in this business for 50 years."

But Maksim hit back: "Then maybe it's time to go!"
