Daniel Radcliffe reveals there will be no further 'Harry Potter' books as the franchise author J. K. Rowling has told him she was so impressed with him in the latest movie.
Daniel Radcliffe can "guarantee" there will be no more 'Harry Potter' books.
The British star - who has played the title character since the movie series began in 2001 - has revealed the writer of the original books J. K. Rowling is so pleased with his performance in the latest film 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1' she has said she will not write any more books about the boy wizard.
Speaking at the movie's US premiere in New York last night (15.11.10), Daniel said: "She felt I had been very good in this 'Harry Potter' film and as a reward for that, she wasn't going to write any more 'Harry Potter' books.
"I'm sure she will be writing other books. But I can pretty much guarantee that Harry will not be a feature."
All of the film's three main actors - Daniel, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson - walked the black carpet for the US premiere, with other big stars attending included Sarah Jessica Parker with son James Wilkie, Madonna's daughter Lourdes Leon and Oscar-nominated actress Gabourey Sidibe.
Speaking about 'Sex And The City' star Sarah's appearance at the US premiere of 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1', Emma - who wore a black Calvin Klein dress to the event - confirmed she thought of her as her "fashion icon".
She said: "Her son is a big 'Harry Potter' fan - we've spoken on a number of occasions. She's a big fashion icon of mine."
