Daniel Radcliffe - Daniel Radcliffe Replaced By Glee Star Darren Criss
Producers of 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying', have announced Daniel Radcliffe's replacement for when the Harry Potter star leaves the production in January 2011, reports the Associated Press.
Radcliffe will make way for Darren Criss, best known for playing the openly gay student 'Blaine Anderson' on Fox series Glee. Darren's character is the leader of Dalton Academy's 'Warblers' - an all-male singing group. He will make his Broadway debut as J. Pierrepont Finch for three weeks starting 3rd January 2011 to 22nd January 2011. Radcliffe has won acclaim for his role in the production, which opened at the Al Hirschfield Theatre back in March and is nominated for eight Tony Awards. Criss has experience of playing Radcliffe's parts - he portrayed Harry Potter in the musicals 'A Very Potter Musical' and 'A Very Potter Sequel'. A part owner of the Team Starkid theatre production company, Criss began his professional career on stage at the age of ten. He appeared in the Stephen Sondheim musical 'Do I Hear a Waltz' in 1998.
Meanwhile, Daniel Radcliffe is set to star in the supernatural thriller 'The Woman in Black' - his first post Harry Potter movie. The film follows a young lawyer who is ordered to travel to a remote village and sort out the papers of a recently deceased client.
