Fans have got their first peek at Daniel Radcliffe in the forthcoming horror movie 'The Woman in Black', after the official trailer finally hit the web. The British star plays young lawyer Arthur Kipps, who travels to a remote village to organise the papers of a recently deceased woman.
As the trailer reveals, things begin to go wrong for Mr Kipps, who encounters the ghost of a scorned woman set on vengeance. The new clip opens with several eerie shots of dolls heads in a spooky mansion. A voiceover explains, "There are those that believe the whole town is cursed, but the house and the marsh are by far the worst.what she wants is unknown, but she always comes back, the spectre of darkness, the woman in black". Arthur is later seen rushing around a burning building, before staring out of a top window with a mysterious figure appearing behind him. Speaking to Yahoo's Movie Talk in August, Radcliffe was quick to reaffirm the movie's horror tag, saying, "To be honest, if I wasn't in it myself I'd probably be too scared to see it. There are moments when people do jump out of their seats, but there are also the subtler moments when you just find a chill running up your spine and you're not quite sure why".
The Woman in Black, set for release on 3rd February 2012, sees Radcliffe star opposite veteran actor Ciaran Hinds and Oscar-nominated actress JANET MCTEER.
