Daniel Radcliffe, the 21-year-old Harry Potter star who recently became teetotal, claims he wants "lots" of children. Radcliffe told CNN host Larry King he "absolutely" wants kids one day.
The actor, currently starring in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, described himself as one of the "broodiest young men you will ever meet", adding, "I think also because I spent so much time around adults and I saw them all have kids. Not just now. But I want kids and I want lots". The actor explained how seeing some of his best friends become fathers has made him want children of his own, adding, "I love kids, as well. I definitely want that.I've got a girlfriend at the moment, who I am very much in love with. So, you know, we'll see where that goes". Radcliffe hit the headlines earlier this week after he admitted to GQ Magazine he had a problem with alcohol during the filming of the final Potter movies. The actor claimed he became "reliant" on booze and was fortunate the paparazzi never captured his worst behaviour.
Daniel Radcliffe, who is said to have made $80 million from his role in the Harry Potter franchise, is currently starring in the Broadway production of 'How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying'.
