Model Danielle Lloyd has spoken of how she feared for her life when doctors discovered a blood clot while she was in hospital for breast implants. Lloyd acknowledged on Twitter how people may think she was "selfish" for having more surgery, but claimed if she hadn't have been hospital, the clot would never have been found.
Speaking on the micro-blogging site, Danielle - who is set to marry Wolves footballer Jamie O'Hara - said, "Also people might think am selfish 4 wanting a boob job but if I didn't have an op they wouldn't have found the clot & I could of died!". She had previously tweeted the words "blood transfusion". After receiving a flurry of support from Twitter followers, she went into further detail about the health scare, saying, "Thanks 4 ur support had a scheduled breast op but Dr's found a blood clot & I lost lots of blood so now having a transfusion am in good hand & I will hopefully be home to my family tomorrow scary times love my family so much". She later assured Twitter fans she was in high spirits, saying the Itv comedy panel show 'Celebrity Juice' was cheering her up.
Lloyd and O'Hara have two children together Archie and Harry. The couple had a scare last year, when Harry was born 10 weeks early, and weighed just over 4lbs.
