The LMFAO star has been a mentor on the hit TV singing contest for two seasons but will not be returning for the 2015 run later this year, according to the Sydney Daily Telegraph.

The rumour was unconfirmed by show producers as WENN went to press, and there was no indication whether his co-judges Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Dannii Minogue, and Ronan Keating will be returning without him.

The report suggests The X Factor bosses are planning two new star additions to the panel.
