Julia Roberts refuses to get Botox because she wants her kids to know how she is feeling.

The 44-year-old 'Mirror Mirror' actress - who has seven-year-old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, and son Henry, four, with husband DANNY MODER - says she relies of her facial expressions too much to get the anti-wrinkle injections.

She said: ''I tried the Botox one time and was permanently surprised for a couple months and it was not a cute look for me.

''My feeling is, I have three children who should know what emotion I'm feeling at the exact moment I'm feeling it. That is critical.

''As a mother it's whatever works for the person. I don't want to judge somebody who can't turn their head or move their lips. I don't know -- if you want your chin on your forehead I'm not one to [judge]. If that's going to bring you joy, I'm all for it.''

When she's doing the school run, the Hollywood star says she leaves her celebrity persona firmly behind and becomes ''Mrs. Moder''.

Talking to Access Hollywood about her off-duty nicknames, she said: ''Or Finn and Hazel's mom. 'Hi, Finn and Hazel's mom!' Or, you know, 'Lady'.''
