Country star David Allan Coe is facing a massive tax bill in the U.S. over allegations he owes more than $1.6 million (£1 million).
Internal Revenue Service (Irs) bosses filed a tax lien against the singer with the Collin County Clerk in Texas in January (11).
The papers, obtained by The Detroit News, suggest the singer owes $1,640,853 (£1,093,902) in unpaid taxes from 2004, 2007 and 2009.
Coe has previously suffered financial troubles - he filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy in 2005.
