David Arquette's drag queen brother ALEXIS has called off his planned reality TV sex change show over fears the project would make him look like a freak.

The cross-dressing star liked the idea of sharing his quest to become a woman with the American public, but became worried about being negatively portrayed, and losing his privacy.

Sister Rosanna Arquette explains, "The reality show about my brother and his sex change is not happening and I'm not disappointed about that.

"It's really private and he's just making that decision in his life about what he wants to do. We all support him in what he wants to do and wouldn't want him to be involved in any circus act about it."

In Regards to David Arquette's sibling who is in the process of undergoing gender reassignment, this person is not a "Drag Queen" she is a transsexual woman and should be either addressed as such, or as a woman. Drag Queens are for the most part Gay men who make their living by impersonating females. Cross dressers or Transvestites are mostly heterosexual men who dress in female clothing for relaxation, or sexual fetish. Neither of these two groups have any desire to become women, where as Transsexuals are people who feel that there gender does not match their birth sex. Being Transsexual is a birth defect that needs to be repaired, and not laughed at anymore than you would laugh at someone born with any other disability. Yours from California, Susan Longsworth
