The producers of cancelled TV show ANGEL have been given a reprieve by America's FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION (FCC) after censorship chiefs threw out complaints about a love scene from the series.

FCC bosses have ruled a 2003 scene showing a female character turning into a vampire and biting her partner's neck did not overstep indecency rules.

The complaint came from America's PARENTS TELEVISION COUNCIL, which claimed lead character Angel, played by David Boreanaz, could be clearly seen "moving (hip hips) back and forth" in the scene.
