Rock veteran David Bowie has recreated some of his legendary 70s glam personas in a French TV advertisment for mineral water.

The short commercial for VITTEL features a modern day Bowie disguised in the outfits and make-up of his past alter-egos - including his stage characters Ziggy Stardust, DIAMOND DOG, the THIN WHITE DUKE and PIERROT THE CLOWN.

The ad also features NEVER GET OLD, the first single from Bowie's upcoming album REALITY, to be released in September (03).

Bowie has now confirmed the track listing for the album - which includes a cover version of late Beatles guitarist George Harrison's TRY SOME, BUY SOME.

It will be Bowie's 26th studio album and features a painted image of the 56-year-old rock legend on the sleeve.
