David Bowie has teamed up with Paul Smith to create his new album T-Shirt, to coincide with the release of his latest LP 'The Next Day'.
The 'Stars (Are Out Tonight)' singer will be celebrating the release of his long-awaited album 'The Next Day' with the official 'TND' T-Shirts, which will be released tomorrow (07.03.13).
Designer Paul is long-term friends with the rock star and has said the new project marks the first of many collaborations planned for this year.
He said: ''David Bowie has worn a lot of Paul Smith throughout his career and I was excited and delighted when asked if I would do the official T-shirt for his album, The Next Day. There will also be some other great things coming up later in the year.''
The artwork for the T-shirts was created by Jonathan Barnbrook and inspired by David's previous album cover 'Heroes', photographed by Masayoshi Sukita.
The design will be printed on Organic cotton and will display a 'Paul Smith for David Bowie' signature next to the main design.
David Bowie's album is due to be released on March 11 2013, four days after the release of the album T-Shirts.
