Dance star David Guetta has paid tribute to his fans in Scotland by naming his new track Glasgow in their honour.
The French superproducer began his U.K. tour with a gig in the country this month (Apr11) and he was so impressed with the devotion of his Scottish followers he will name a song after one of the region's biggest cities.
He tells Scotland's Daily Record newspaper, "It was amazing. I had so much fun with the Scottish crowd and it really was the best way to start a tour. There were some special moments when I played my new records for the first time. I played a new electronic track and the reaction was so crazy that I took the mic and said, 'When I put out the record I will call it Glasgow.'
"It's an instrumental record and I will call it that because I keep my word. It will probably be on my new album in September. It's not a single, it's more of an underground track."
