CAM NEWTON, the Auburn Tigers quarterback who was honoured with the Heisman Trophy on Monday (13th December 2010) appeared on the 'Late Show with David Letterman' last night where he professed his love for Justin Bieber, as well as stating his intention to join the cast of Glee, reports The Huffington Post.
After speaking to Letterman about winning the trophy, which is traditionally given to the most outstanding player in collegiate football, Newton than began reading a 'top ten' list of 'Things Cam Newton can say now that he won the Heisman Trophy'. After arriving at number seven on the list, the 21-year-old said, "OK, I admit it...I have Bieber fever". Later in the list, Newton revealed, "Next season I'm joining the cast of Glee as the gruff quarterback with the voice of an angel", and for number four the quarterback said, "After this, I'm going on Rachel Ray to make Heisman-shaped meatloaf".
Also joining Letterman on last night's show was the actor and comedian Ricky Gervais, actress Hailee Steinfeld, and the American super-group Diddy-Dirty Money.
