Demi Moore stepped out with the 37-year-old New Zealand born actor Martin Henderson in Connecticut this week, leaving fans of the Hollywood actress anxiously googling him to find out, well, who on earth he is.
The rugged actor began his television career in the drama 'Shortland Street', before appearing in a handful of Australian movies. He moved to the United States in the mid-1990s to pursue a career in Hollywood, initially training at the Neighbourhood Playhouse in New York City. After spending time auditioning for movies in Los Angeles, Henderson landed a role in John Woo's war movie 'Windtalkers', before taking the lead in 'Kick'. Bigger roles were to come, and the actor starred opposite Naomi Watts in the horror film 'The Ring' - a surprise box office success. Since then, Henderson has appeared in 'Torque', 'Bride and Prejudice' and 'Little Fish' while gaining acclaim on the stage for his role in the West End production of 'Fool For Love'. In recent years, Henderson has appeared in music videos and commercials.
It's been a tough year for Moore, who split from husband Ashton Kutcher in 2011 amidst rumors of his infidelity. She has reportedly fallen out with daughters Rumer, Scout and Tallulah, though seemed happy enough while out with Henderson this week. One source told Life and Style, "They were very comfortable with each other".
