Denise Richards, the 40-year-old actress and former 'Bond Girl', has adopted a baby-girl and named the child 'Eloise Joni', after her mother who died in 2007, according to US Weekly. Denise Richards chose to adopt domestically from within the United States, and the baby-girl is now living with the family in California.
The actress already has two daughters, 7-year-old Sam and 5-year-old Lola from her marriage to the troubled actor Charlie Sheen. Richards has sole physical custody of the children, with the former 'Two and a Half Men' star getting occasional visitation rights. A representative for the actress confirmed the new arrival, saying, "Denise and Eloise's big sisters couldn't be happier and feel incredibly blessed". As the adoption process in the U.S. can often take up to a couple of years, it is assumed that Denise has been preparing for the baby's arrival for some time. In response to the messages of congratulations, the actress took to her Twitter page to say, "Thank you all for your sweet messages. The girls and I are over the moon and so is my dad Grandpa Irv...xo".
Denise Richards married Charlie Sheen in 2002 after appearing opposite each other in 'Good Advice' and 'Scary Movie 3'. Following a turbulent three years, the actress filed for divorce in March 2005 and later sought a restraining order against the actor.
