A lost Diana Ross album of standards is to be released 35 years after the soul great recorded it as a companion to her LADY SINGS THE BLUES soundtrack. Ross, who portrayed torch singer Billie Holiday in the cult film, recorded the songs for Blue in the early 1970s but the project was shelved as the singer started promoting her hit pop album TOUCH ME IN THE MORNING. The lost tracks were filed away and only recently discovered in Motown's vaults.
