Diane Keaton - Diane Keaton Stands By Woody Allen In Molestation Scandal
The revered director's troubled family life was thrust into the spotlight in February (14), when Dylan Farrow, his adopted daughter with his ex-partner Mia Farrow, repeated claims she first made in 1992, suggesting Allen sexually abused her when she was seven years old.
Allen was forced to deny the accusations once again and Keaton, who dated the filmmaker in the 1970s, insists she has no reason to doubt his word, although she is hesitant to comment directly on the situation herself.
She tells People magazine, "I love Woody. I don't want to say anything about (the molestation accusations), except I'm Woody's friend, and I believe him. That's the bottom line for me.
"I worry for him and everybody else involved, and I hope it works out for the best for everyone."
