Justin Timberlake is being tipped by bookmakers to star in the forthcoming 'Dirty Dancing' remake.

The 'Friends with Benefits' actor is firm favourite with Paddy Power betting shops to play the part of Johnny Castle - which was made famous by Patrick Swayze in the 1980's hit movie - with 'Superbad' actress Emma Stone being touted to play Frances 'Baby' Houseman.

According to the bookmakers, Justin - who has odds of 3/1 - faces stiff competition from 'Thor' actor Chris Hemsworth (6/1) and Zac Efron, who is an 8/1 shot to team up with his former 'High School Musical' director Kenny Ortega.

'Scream 4' star Emma Roberts and 'Glee' actress Lea Michele are 8/1 joint second favourites to take up the role of Frances, which was previously played by Jennifer Grey in the original movie.

The film - which dancer Derek Hough, 'Glee' actor Matthew Morrison and 'Gossip Girl' hunk Chace Crawford have all been linked with - is set to arrive in 2013.
