Simon Cowell has recruited actor James Corden and rapper Dizzee Rascal for a special charity song to mark the Euro 2012 soccer tournament.
The tune is an updated version of Shout, the unofficial anthem of the England team during the 2010 Fifa World Cup, and will be unveiled this weekend (begs23Jun12).
Breaking the news on his Twitter.com page, Cowell writes, "Just heard the new updated version of DizzeeRascal (sic) and JKCorden's (sic) Shout - Incredible! Hopefully first radio play this weekend."
Rapper Dizzee Rascal also took the opportunity to express his excitement at the upcoming release and called on fans to beat the $132,700 (£85,000) the song's sales generated for Britain's Great Ormond Street Hospital for children in 2010, writing, "Yesterday I recorded an updated version of Shout for England! Last time me and JKCorden (sic) raised over 85K (sic) for Great Ormand st. (sic) Lets top that!"
