Donna Karan's new fragrance represents her ''supportive messages to women''.

The acclaimed designer will release Woman in August and her collaborators on the scent believe it embodies the key aspects of her work; making females feel attractive.

Veronique Gabai-Pinsky, global brand president of Aramis and Designer Fragrances, BeautyBank and Idea Bank at the Estee Lauder Cos. Inc said: ''This project represents Donna's supportive messages to women. She has always tried to enhance every woman's best features. She makes you feel beautiful, no matter what.''

Donna believes women's power comes from their working with men and thinks that is represented in her fragrance collection.

The designer - who teamed with architect Zaha Hadid to come up with the bottle for Woman - told WWD: ''There is a man in every woman.

''Woman - a woman and a man all coming together for me - that is the power of a woman.''

The Woman collection will include two sizes of eau de parfum, 1.7oz. and 3.4oz., a body lotion and body cleansing lotion.

It will launch in around 240 stores in the US and first be sold in luxury department store Harrods in the UK.
