Former Doobie Brothers drummer Michael Hossack has died following a long battle with cancer.
Hossack died at his home in Wyoming on Monday (12Mar12). He was 65.
He was a member of the Doobie Brothers between 1971 and 1973, and played on hits like Listen to the Music and China Grove.
Hossack returned to the band when they reunited in 1987 and became a regular until his health forced him to take a leave of absence in 2010.
