Dr Dre was always going to have to go some to top Arcade Fire's phenomenal Coachella Festival headlining performance last year when they dropped a giant Led ball to the ground during their set. However, there can be little denying that he's giving it is best shot with the news that he's going to bring two rappers back from the dead for his own set!
According to the radio station Kroq, Dre will be bringing Nate Dogg and Tupac Shakur onto the stage with him, surprising news given that Nate died in March of last year, with Tupac dying back in 1996. However, Dre hasn't quite made the scientific breakthrough that it would seem, the two late MCs will be joining him on stage, but as holograms. This means that Dogg will be "appearing" for the track 'The Next Episode' whilst you'd expect Tupac would be there for the classic 'California Love.'
There will also apparently be some alive and breathing guests joining Dre on stage with Eminem, Wiz Khalifa, Warren G and Snoop Dogg rumored to be making appearances. Fans are still waiting for what is expected to be the rapper's last solo record, with 'Detox' currently looking like it'll be coming out 11 years after his last LP '2001.' Two singles have so far been released, 'Kush' and 'I Need A Doctor.'
