Drew Barrymore claims her best tip for enhancing eyes under spectacles is applying strategically-placed eyeliner.
Drew Barrymore says girls who wear glasses should enhance their eyes with eyeliner.
The '50 First Dates' actress - who announced she was expecting her second child with husband Will Kopelman earlier this week - has shared her top beauty tips for women with spectacles in a new video tutorial on E! Online for her Flower Beauty cosmetics line.
The 38-year-old star advised fans to apply a liberal amount of eyeliner on the inner lashline to make eyes appear bigger and their colour ''pop''.
She explained: ''The first one is a tip a make-up artist taught me that I absolutely love and I actually apply it in my own life. I take an eyeliner and I start on the waterline of my eyes, which just gives some nice depth of colour and makes my green eyes pop.
''What really works for women in glasses is [also doing] the upper waterline, especially the corners, you want to drag it all the way around up top. When I've done this, at the end of the day I come home and I can't believe how much bigger my eyes look!''
The actress also demonstrated how to do a winged liquid eyeliner look which stands out under glasses.
She said: ''Another tip is to take a liquid liner and give yourself a tiny little cat flick, start at the outer corner of the eye. It gives the illusion that people are now examining your eyes, the shape of them. It's really [visually] grabbing.''
Drew then liberally applied mascara, emphasising how important the bottom lashes are.
She added: ''You want the lashes to tickle the glasses, anything that extends your lashes. Make sure you never leave out those bottom lashes, my God what a difference those make!''
